Donald Trump’s Modeling Agency Got Sued By Models — He Brought Us Here Illegally!

Whoa, this is bad. Three former models from Donald Trump’s modeling agency claim in a new interview that they worked for Trump Model Management as illegal immigrants, and that the company forced them to do so. Now, the girls are suing their former boss. Here’s the scoop.

This is SO messed up. Donald Trump has made stopping illegal immigration a centerpiece of his campaign to become President of the United States, but a new interview by Mother Jones reveals that he’s been banking off the exact thing he claims to hate the most! Three former Trump models explained that they were actually encouraged to work without a visa by his agency when they started out in the industry!

A Canadian model named Rachel Blais revealed that she worked for the company for three years, and six months of that time was spent without a visa. She even appeared on The Apprentice modeling clothes designed by Donald’s proteges! She and several other models were taught how to lie to customs officials while they were coming over on a tourist visa (which doesn’t allow you to work.) “When you’re stuck at immigration, say that you’re coming as a tourist. If they go through your luggage and they find your portfolio, tell them that you’re going there to look for an agent,” the model explained.

Rachel said that she and several other girls (who also didn’t have visas) were shepherded into cramped living spaces and were WAY overcharged for them. “The majority of models who are young, [have] never been to NYC, and don’t have papers, I was just put in Trump’s models’ apartment,” Rachel revealed.

What’s crazy is that all of the girls wanted to be legal workers, but the company wouldn’t allow it. “It was very much the case of you earn your visa,” another model said. “Essentially, if you got enough work and they liked you enough, they’d pay for a visa, but you weren’t about to see a dime before you could prove your worth,” another girl revealed. “I was pretty on edge most of the time I was there.”
