“Jen doesn’t want do deal with all the attention she gets in LA with the Brangelina news. She can control things a little more away from L.A., so she wants to have things cool down a little bit before she returns home. That is one major reason she left L.A.,” a source said EXCLUSIVELY.
Jen was papped getting on a private plane heading out of Los Angeles Sept. 22, so all eyes were already on her movements. She turned up hours in New York City, where the paparazzi once again caught up with her, but Manhattan affords her a lot more anonymity that the City of Angels.
“The more chance to hide and still get business done is key for her right now,” our insider adds. Jen has been dragged into the spotlight ever since ex-husband Brad Pitt, 52, got dumped by the woman he left Jen for when Angelina Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from him on Sept. 19. Everyone wants to know what she thinks of karma coming back to haunt him and what her reaction is to the sudden split, but it’s obvious Jen is doing all she can to avoid dealing with their personal drama.
While Jennifer has wanted nothing to do with the “love triangle” that she tired of so long ago, like it or not the rest of the world seemed to rejoice for her when the news that Angie dumped Brad broke. The New York Post even used a file photo of Jennifer grinning from ear to ear as their cover to announce the couple’s split, with a simple “Brangelina 2004-1016” in the corner, implying Jen is getting the last laugh in the couple’s demise.
