Yikes! Kanye West, 39, is still mad about all of the drama surrounding his lyric “I feel like me and Taylor (Swift) might still have sex. Why? I made that b*tch famous.” He started the song not once, not twice, but three times on Sept. 24, and gave mini-rants between the notorious lines. And believe us, his fans were LOVING it.
At one point, Kanye discussed how people wanted him to just take the line out of the song. Fans booed and shouted the lyrics louder. At one point they all began shouting “f*ck Taylor Swift” in unison. Sheesh! To add insult to injury, this all went down in Taylor’s hometown of Nashville, Tennessee!
Kanye seemed like he wanted to put all of the drama surrounding the song behind him when he introduced his new music video for “Fade” at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28. He made the very valid point that there are bigger issues at hand, like police brutality, saying “Last week it was 22 people murdered in Chicago. People come to me like… take Taylor. Like, bro, I love all y’all (artists). That’s why I called her.”
We truly believe Kanye was trying to move past it, but he also kind of took a jab at the same time. We all remember how Kanye said that Taylor approved his lyric, then she said he never reached out, then his wife Kim Kardashian shared the tapes of Kanye explicitly asking Taylor for her blessing. Seems like he just couldn’t resist bringing it up again, and apparently the same went for Sept. 24.
