Malia Obama Wears ‘Smoking Kills’ Shirt Just Weeks After Puffing On Suspicious Cigarette

Is Malia Obama now taking the moral high ground? Just weeks after she was caught puffing on a suspicious cigarette at Lollapalooza, President Obama’s daughter wore a ‘Smoking Kills’ t-shirt while attending Philadelphia’s Made In America Festival on Sunday, Sept. 4.

This is interesting. Malia Obama wore the “Smoking Kills” t-shirt at the Budweiser Made in America Festival, where she knew she’d be photographed with her friends. Could this be her way of making amends after allegedly smoking marijuana at another music festival just a few weeks ago?

Sunday’s lineup at the festival included Coldplay, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Chance The Rapper, whom Malia saw at 2014’s Lollapalooza. We had a feeling she’d attend this music festival, but we had no idea she’d make such a bold fashion statement.

As we previously told you, Malia was pictured smoking a suspicious cigarette at this year’s Lollapalooza. Rumors suggested the cigarette contained marijuana. Footage published by Radar Online just a few weeks ago showed Malia taking a drag from the cigarette, while surrounded by her friends.

So we’re guessing either Malia wants to make it clear that she’s not a fan of smoking, or her parents forced her to wear the shirt as some sort of punishment. Heck, we’d do the same thing if she were our daughter. Either way, her t-shirt makes total sense. Smoking is very dangerous. So regardless of how Malia feels about smoking, we’re happy to see her wearing such a positive message. Not only will her peers likely benefit from it, but hopefully she will too.

Readers, why do YOU think Malia Obama decided to wear a shirt that says “Smoking Kills”?
