Billy Bush Burst Into Tears After Trump Tapes Leaked: Fears His Career Is ‘Over’

Things are not looking good for Billy Bush career-wise after tapes leaked of him slut-shaming women with Donald Trump leaked on Oct. 7.

The former ‘Today’ host is a wreck over the release of the audio — and he even broke down in tears as this all unfolded, according to a new report.

“Billy was devastated and crying when the leaked tape of him with Donald Trump in 2005 was first leaked to the Washington Post,” Us Weekly reports. “He was crying that his career was over.”

In the video, Billy banters and jokes with Trump, as the now presidential candidate makes misogynistic and lewd comments about women. Not only did Donald discuss grabbing women “by the p***y,” but he also talked about wanting to “f***” Nancy O’Dell, a married woman. Following the release of these crude audio tapes, Billy was suspended from the Today show, and on Oct. 10, it was reported that Carson Daly will be replacing him in the third hour of the show.

Meanwhile, the talk show host certainly isn’t getting any sympathy from his fellow co-workers on the NBC morning show — they reportedly couldn’t care less that he might no longer be part of the program. “It won’t be a loss to any of them personally if he doesn’t come back,” People reported.
Billy has since apologized for the disgusting comments on the tape, saying he’s “embarrassed and ashamed” over the situation. “I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along,” he concluded. “Im very sorry.” Meanwhile, Donald addressed the tapes at the presidential debate on Oct. 9, and has insisted that he’ll never drop out of the race for president over this (or anything else, for that matter).
