Obviously, the craziest report that’s come from this whole breakup involves Brad Pitt’s alleged child abuse. Although Angelina Jolie, 41, hasn’t commented on the specifics of these accusations, she did file for full physical custody of the pair’s six kids, and said in a brief statement that she chose to divorce Brad “for the health of her family.”
It’s not exactly clear where claims of this alleged abuse stem from, but it’s reported that an incident took place on the family’s private plane Sept. 15, involving the pair’s son, Maddox, 15, and it pushed Angie over the edge. Brad and Angelina reportedly got into a heated argument during the flight, and when the teenager stepped in to calm things down, the actor allegedly put his hands on him. Brad’s camp hasn’t denied that the fight escalated, but they’ve been insistent that he’s never been physically abusive toward any of his kids.
A source close to Brad fired back against the allegations with an accusation of their own: Angelina and her team were “manipulating” the situation to “best suit their attempts to gain custody,” according to the insider. Meanwhile, have also been cheating accusations against the 52-year-old. Several different outlets reported that he had an affair with Marion Cotillard, 40, while they were filming Allied, although she shot down those rumors herself in a lengthy Instagram post.
