“I was waiting for a car to take me home,” Karena, 45, said during a press conference on Oct. 20. The yoga teacher and “inspirational speaker” claims she was groped by Donald, 70, during the 1998 US Open tennis tournament in Queens, per The Guardian. During the alleged night in question, Donald reportedly came up to her and “reached out his right arm” to grab her.
“Then his hand touched the right side of my breast,” Karena said. “I was in shock. I flinched. ‘Don’t you know who I am? Don’t you know who I am?’ That’s what he said to me. I felt intimidated and I felt powerless. When my car pulled up and I got in, after I closed the door, my shock turned to shame”
Karena said that after Donald was “caught on tape bragging about groping women,” she felt compelled to come forth and “add my voice to that of the other Trump accusers,” according to Yahoo. She felt that she had to stand up to Donald “for myself, my family, particularly my daughter, and for all the women who deserve to be respected and not subjected by sexual abuse or groped by powerful men who believe that women can be groped, grabbed or kissed at their pleasure.”
Legendary women’s right attorney Gloria Allred, 75, was there to help Karen make her accusations and she also wanted to point out something about all these accusations. “Today’s victim is also noteworthy in that her allegation demonstrates how Mr. Trump selects his victims at random,” she said. “Some of the women, including the woman who is here today, had an encounter with Mr. Trump that appeared to be strictly by chance.”
There are at least 11 women who have accused Donald of inappropriate behavior ranging from gross comments to sexual assault. Donald denied these claims during the third and final presidential debate. He claimed that he never met any of these women and that they’re all lying. “I didn’t even apologize to my wife,” Donald said, pointing out Melania Trump, 46, “Because I didn’t do anything [wrong.]” Karena obviously disagrees.
