The Republican presidential nominee says he thinks Alec ‘stinks’ and SNL is ‘unfunny.’ Whoa, way to hit ’em where it hurts Donald! Get the scoop on Donald’s opinion right here!
Following another amazing episode of Saturday Night Live, in which Alec Baldwin, 58, hilariously portrayed Donald Trump, 70, in a sketch about the second presidential, Donald made it known how much he is not liking the digs at him. “Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me. Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election,” Donald tweeted early in the morning on Oct. 16, the day after the latest episode of the sketch show aired. Really, Donald? SNL is rigging the election? Oh, boy.
We totally understand why Donald might be defensive over how he’s being portrayed, after all SNL pulls no punches when it comes to parody. But, the show has a long tradition of going after all politicians, even taking digs at Donald’s opponent, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, 68 — though admittedly more at him than her! However, someone who wants to be the leader of the free world really needs to be able to take a joke, and Hillary definitely seems to be able to handle that more than the ever sensitive Donald.
Plus, Donald just keeps doing and saying ridiculous things that make it easy for him to be attacked! Like on this week’s episode of SNL, in the second presidential debate sketch, Alec attacked Hillary (played by Kate McKinnon, 32) after lurking behind her for a while in the totally creepy way that the real Donald did at the town hall-style debate! Come on, Donald. If you are going to do something like that, you need to be ready to have a few jokes made at your expense!
