Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, 70, has decided to move away from accusing opponent Hillary Clinton, 68, of being too sick to run the country. He hasn’t suddenly found some decency, no; he’s instead decided to suggest that Hillary is cheating on her husband, former president Bill Clinton, 70! Um, excuse us?
One of Trump’s favorite slams against Hillary is bringing up her husband’s much-discussed infidelity in the 1990s. But for some reason, he’s now turning the tables and saying that Hillary is the one cheating on Bill! At a rally in Manheim, Pennsylvania on October 1, Trump went hard against Hillary, first discussing her recent bout of pneumonia. Yes, he’s still on that.
Trump brought up, for the umpteenth time, the subject of Hillary’s private email server, which, we may remind him, the FBI has investigated and dismissed. He told the crowd, first, that “she should be in jail,” and then switched gears to how “Crooked Hillary” wouldn’t be loyal to her voters!
“I don’t even think [Hillary’s] loyal to Bill, to tell you the truth,” he said. “And why should she be, right? Why should she be?” Okay, that’s gross. As we’re all familiar, Bill was caught having an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky in 1998, while he was president.
Trump also said that Hillary had “low energy” and lacked the “stamina” that he totally has to be commander-in-chief. After rattling off a list of various world problems, Trump told the crowd, “She’s supposed to fight all of these things and she can’t make it 15 feet to her car. Give me a break. Folks, we need stamina, we need energy, we need people who are going to turn deals around,” before mocking her fainting. Classy!
