Hurricane Matthew Live Stream: Watch Non-Stop Coverage Of The Deadly Storm

Hurricane Matthew has killed 28 people — and counting — in three Caribbean countries, and the tropical storm is currently raging over the Bahamas.

It’s set to hit the United States next, and you can see live coverage of the storm that ‘will kill you’ if you haven’t evacuated targeted areas, as the Governor of Florida has warned. WATCH right here!

Hurricane Matthew is gaining strength, according to storm forecasters, and more than 2 million households in coastal Florida, Georgia and South Carolina have been ordered to leave by authorities — the largest mandatory evacuation since Hurricane Sandy in 2012. It’s expected to arrive over Florida by Friday as a rare Category 4 hurricane, so be sure to stay updated if you are in an affected area.

The tropical storm is the strongest in decades, officials say, and the National Weather Service issued this dire warning on Oct. 6:

WIDESPREAD EXTENSIVE TO DEVASTATING WIND IMPACTS WILL BE FELT.

AIRBORNE DEBRIS LOFTED BY EXTREME WINDS WILL BE CAPABLE OF BREACHING
STRUCTURES, UNPROTECTED WINDOWS AND VEHICLES. EFFECTS SUCH AS THESE
RANGING FROM THE COAST TO WELL INLAND HAVE NOT BEEN EXPERIENCED IN
CENTRAL FLORIDA IN DECADES.

LOCAL WINDS WILL EXCEED WHAT OCCURRED DURING THE HURRICANES OF
2004. ANY EVACUATIONS AND STRUCTURE PREPARATION SHOULD BE COMPLETED
THIS AFTERNOON. TRAVEL WILL BE STRONGLY DISCOURAGED BEGINNING AT DUSK.

EXPECT WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES.

“This could be an extremely disastrous hurricane for so many large areas where so many people can be affected,” National Hurricane Center Director Rick Knabb told CNN. “It’s not just going to come ashore and affect a narrow zone and then move on. It’s going to be going up the coast and could remain a major hurricane at the coast, or very close to it, the whole way up. That’s awful.”

If you’re in one of the affected areas, be sure to stay safe and updated about the storm’s path!
