Jamie Foxx, 48, and Katie Holmes, 37, are done-zo, reports Page Six. Sadly, the couple who refused to ever acknowledge that they were a couple have gone their separate ways because Katie felt it was time to stop hiding their romance, but Jamie did not. Ouch.
“Jamie wants to continue to act like the carefree guy he is in public. Eventually, the question had to come about whether he was committed enough to the relationship,” a source close to the actor told the outlet, explaining how things erupted between him and Katie.
Unfortunately for the couple, rumors of a split come just one month after another report claimed the pair were engaged. According to the report, Jamie went to Katie’s ex, Tom Cruise, and requested his approval to finally marry Katie after over a year of being in a rumored relationship. It was widely speculated that Tom had Katie’s romantic life held under lock and key after their 2012 split, which allegedly forced her to remain single for a specific amount of time following their divorce.
While it remains unconfirmed if that was actually the case, sadly it no longer matters if Jamie and Katie have decided to go their separate ways.
