Justin Timberlake, 35, and Anna Kendrick, 31, were so stoked to have the honor of lighting up the London Eye on September 29, but it just didn’t work out as planned. The stars of the upcoming animated film Trolls were in town to party and celebrate the movie’s premiere underneath the famed observation wheel, and were tasked with lighting it up in rainbow colors.
Anna and Justin hyped themselves up to press a giant button on the count of three, but at liftoff…nothing happened. Omg! As one of the movie’s songs, Justin’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, blared in the background, the twosome were quietly freaking out, waiting for the lights to come on. They got a serious case of the giggles as they waited, and waited…and waited.
Justin tried to punch the button incessantly in hopes that it’d work, and even checked underneath the platform to see if he could figure it out himself. And eventually it did work! The wheel burst into rainbow lights. Thank god! Anna and Justin looked so relieved.
We’re so excited to see Trolls, especially because of its amazing soundtrack. Not only is that incredible song from Justin included, but Anna lends her voice to tons of songs, like “The Sound of Silence” and “Get Back Up Again”. That also includes a duet with Justin on a cover of “True Colors”! We have a feeling that this is going to be one of our fave movies of 2016.
Trolls premieres on November 4.
