This could have been WAY awkward. Chris Brown, 27, and Karrueche Tran, 28, both celebrated the spooky season at the Maxim Halloween party in Los Angeles on Oct. 22, but Kae told EXCLUSIVELY that she had no idea the singer would be there — and that they haven’t spoken at all. “I did not know Chris was going to be here tonight,” she told us. “We haven’t spoken in a while.” Wow. We seriously can’t believe that she didn’t know Breezy would be there. So how did she manage to avoid him all night?
“Karrueche was in a private VIP area with just a few friends near the red carpet while Chris stayed low-key in a separate VIP area on the opposite side of the large room of the party,” an insider at the party tells. “Between them were thousands of costumed party people and Karrueche made sure to stay on her side of the room giving her ex plenty off space to avoid any awkward run-ins.”

As we previously reported, Karrueche stepped out in LA on Oct. 21, looking super sexy in a gold satin bra and matching pants. We couldn’t help but wonder whether her racy outfit had anything to do with Chris’ new fling, Cydney Christine, allegedly taunting her on Instagram. After Cyd had a cute date night with the R&B crooner on Oct. 20, she seemingly threw shade at Karrueche. When a fan on Instagram suggested that Karrueche would “beat” her because she was out with Chris, Cydney allegedly responded, “She can try.” Ouch.
