It’s the end of an era! Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have reportedly reached an agreement on their drawn-out divorce, which Khloe initially requested in December 2013. Now, the exes apparently just need a judge to sign off on their docs, and they’ll officially no longer be married, according to TMZ.
Khloe and Lamar reportedly reached their settlement on Friday, October 21, agreeing on a property settlement. Although this means that Lamar is allegedly on board with the divorce, finally, they can’t just get it over with immediately. Khloe dropped the divorce in October 2015 when Lamar overdosed on a deadly combination of drugs at a brothel in Nevada, nearly losing his life and suffering severe health problems. She wanted him to have the incredible healthcare that would come with being married to her.
She was hoping to make their marriage work, and they rekindled their love for a short period of time, until Lamar allegedly started abusing drugs and alcohol again. She refiled for divorce in May 2016.

Under California law, Khloe has to wait six months for a judge to sign off on divorce docs, so she and Lamar won’t see their marriage officially dissolved until December. Unless something happens, and they decide they want to give this marriage another shot, again, they’ll both be single by 2017!
It’s unclear why Lamar finally decided that he would sign the divorce docs after dragging his feet for nearly two years. But it may have something to do with his addiction struggles, according to a report from US Weekly. After dodging a family intervention, his children allegedly urged him to make changes in his life. Lamar reportedly decided to stop talking to Khloe, because of his lingering feelings for his estranged wife. So if they’re officially divorced, that severs his ties to her!
