The reality star told cops that she had an interaction with the concierge, who was also threatened, during the attack, according to a new report — and it’s pretty heartbreaking.
It was originally reported that the doorman of the building where Kim Kardashian, 35, was attacked was locked in a stairwell after letting gunmen into the apartment, but new information from the reality star’s phone interview with police tells a much different story. The reality star reportedly revealed to officials that the concierge was in the room the entire time she was robbed, and she even spoke to him as the attackers raided, according to TMZ.
Despite being scared out of her mind, Kim asked the concierge, “Are we gonna die?” during the robbery, the site reports, adding that she claims he calmly answered her with, “I don’t know.” His easy response is a little worrisome, though, when paired with what else Kim reportedly conveyed to police: That the concierge “was extremely calm, despite being cuffed and held at gunpoint.”
Obviously, being held at gunpoint, tied up and locked in a bathroom has left Kim completely terrified, and her best friend, Jonathan Cheban, admitted that she’s understandably “not doing so good.” The reality star has been locked away with Kanye West, 39, in New York City since returning from France hours after the robbery.
As we previously reported, the robbers stole $11 million worth of jewelry from Kim, including a $4.3 million diamond ring that is suspected to be the one ‘Ye gave her just a few weeks ago. Her purse and phone were also stolen, however, it definitely seems like these men were after items of high monetary value, rather than any of her personal information.
