Kim Kardashian, 35, has been hiding out in her New York City apartment with her husband, Kanye West, 39, as she deals with the aftermath of the terrifying robbery attack. Now, Paris police may have a lead — They’re suspicious that this incident is the works of an insider, according to TMZ! Alleged sources close to the investigation tell the site that authorities and her famous family don’t think it was any coincidence that she was without security when the masked men found their way into her apartment. In fact, sources tell the site, cops and the Kardashians believe the robbers were “tipped off” that it was the perfect time to attack. OMG!
By the looks of what we know so far, there was a short period of time the robbers had to attack. Kim had guests over before they all left her to go out, as documented on her Snapchat just before the robbery. Her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, who is usually her tail (as he should be), was out protecting Kendall Jenner, 20, and Kourtney Kardashian, 37, in a neighboring nightclub. Kim has apparently poked fun at how Pascal is always by her side, joking that it became annoying at some points, the site mentions. However, TMZ says, the Kardashians are not and have not suggested that Kim’s bodyguard was a part of the horrific act.
Actually, the family has reportedly said they are sure it was not Pascal who could have been involved. But, they are allegedly convinced that someone hinted to the robbers the exact time to strike while they would not be caught. Hmm…
If there was a tip-off from someone, TMZ says there’s a lengthy list of suspects — This is due to the numerous units in the apartment complex and the many people who knew Kim’s schedule, especially with Paris Fashion Week going on. They claim police are in the midst of checking phone records of different people in and around the apartment building in order to hunt suspicious action. WOW!
As you may already know, five masked men reportedly stole over $10 million worth of jewels, including her diamond engagement ring. The robbers tied Kim up and locked her inside the bathroom of her Paris chateau, and allegedly got away on bikes. She was heroically able to free herself of the duct tape around her mouth and the ties around her wrists. Kim has been completely silent aside from a statement from her camp notifying the public that she was left “physically unharmed” but “badly shaken.” Kanye was performing in NYC at the time of the incident, and stopped his concert to rush to her side, telling the packed crowd he had to leave due to a “family emergency.” We’re just glad Kim was left unhurt. We hope she is doing well!
