Manchester United kicked off October on the wrong foot, losing to Tottenham Hotspur, 0-2, which snapped their undefeated streak, per FanSided. The Spurs are now on the heels of Man City, merely one point behind them on the Premier League table. Everton is not that far behind, lurking around 5th points (and just four points behind first place.)

After a break (courtesy of World Cup qualifiers) many expect Man City to rebound in a major way. “We need to lean from that defeat,” City midfielder Fernando, 29, said via press release, “and return to winning ways again so it’s vital we get back to playing the way we have been.

Unfortunately, the team has been slammed with injuries. Barcary Sagna, 33, returned from France’s WCQ victory over Bulgaria with the worst kind of souvenir: a torn hamstring. The Man City star is expected to be out for a month. Kevin De Bruyne, 25, and Vincent Kompany, 30, are also up on the shelf, which has some Man City members cautious about going up against Everton
“They’ve started well and have looked really good,” said Fernando. “They are just four points behind us which is an indication of how good a job Ronald Koeman has done. They have made one or two signings and they have a strong squad so we know they’ll be a threat.”

Will they be a strong enough threat? Who do you think will win this game? Can Man City slay the Toffees or do you thin Everton will earn the upset?
