The LA County DA is reportedly now reviewing whether or not to press rape charges against the ‘Glee’ star. We have all the details here.
The woman, who remains unnamed, accused Mark Salling, 34, of raping her nearly four years ago during their alleged months-long relationship. In her police report, filed in April 2016, the woman says that she and Mark allegedly went into a room to have sex, but she changed her mind and told him no, “I can’t do this.” She said that Mark allegedly didn’t stop when she said no, and allegedly raped her.
Mark has not been arrested for the alleged rape at this time. The LA county DA is reportedly reviewing the case to decide if they will file rape charges against the former Glee star, according to TMZ.
Mark was arrested in December 2015 when the Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit issued a search warrant for his home, and allegedly found “thousands of images of child sexual exploitation” on his computer. The LAPD confirmed in a statement that Mark had been arrested on charges of child pornography.
Mark was indicted on charges of receiving child pornography and for possessing the porn; he entered pleas of “not guilty” during his arraignment in June 2016. He faces up to 20 years in prison for each alleged crime.
