Best boyfriend ever! Adele‘s, 28, longtime significant other, Simon Konecki, 42, showed how special the Grammy winner is to him when he gave her the surprise of her life for their 5th anniversary. After the “Hello” singer’s concert in Nashville on Oct. 17, a ton of sparkly pink confetti rained down on the crowd, featuring sweet handwritten messages from Simon. “You are an angel,” I love you,” and “Love you long time” were written on the pieces of paper! Too cute.
As any Adele fan knows, the songstress often ends her shows with black-and-white confetti exploding over the audience that contains lyrics from her very personal songs. She must have been so shocked to see her usual messages replaced with Simon’s special ones! Seriously, we can’t think of a cuter way to show her just how much he cares for her on their big milestone in front of her thousands of devoted fans.
While the pop star is still on the road for her 25 tour, she’s looking forward to spending time with Simon and their son, Angelo. As we previously told you, Adele is reportedly planning on taking a 10-YEAR break from touring so that she can raise her little boy and spend time with her man. “Angelo is the number one priority for Adele,” a source told The Sun in Sept. 2016. “Adele doesn’t want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up and it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him.” We totally understand that, and especially after Simon’s sweet surprise, we’re sure she can’t wait to spend more time with him.
