During his campaign rally in Reno, Nevada on Nov. 5, the Republican candidate had to be escorted off stage after a protester allegedly rushed towards him. Secret Service agents didn’t skip a beat, whisking him away as they shouted “Go, go!” At the same moment, local police and a private security team tackled the suspect to the ground as he tried to break free by kicking. After someone first yelled “gun,” chaos ensued.

However, according to the latest update from CNN, no weapon has been found or seen.

Luckily, the controversial business mogul was just fine, returning to the stage only five minutes later. Seemingly unshaken, Donald declared, “Nobody said it was going to be easy for us. But we will never be stopped.” He then applauded his security team’s efforts for their quick save. “I want to thank the Secret Service. These guys are fantastic. They don’t get enough credit. They’re amazing people.” After the scare, he continued as usual with his regular speech. Although the unknown suspect has been taken into custody, his motive remains unknown.

It seems Donald noticed the commotion in the crowd moments before the bald man tried to run towards the stage, which may have given him a moment to react. “What’s going on?” asked one woman during the disturbance, “Are we in danger?” Yikes.
