It’s been over a year since nearly two dozen hopefuls threw their hats into the ring in a bid to become president. Anyone remember Bobby Jindal or Lincoln Chafee? Now it’s down to just Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, 69, and Republican nominee Donald Trump, 70. Tomorrow, November 8, one of those two candidates could become President of the United States of America! Millions are going to head to the polls to cast their ballots for them — or a third party candidate, or a write-in for Vermin Supreme.
And once those ballots are casted, the waiting game begins. Don’t sit at home and pace back and forth; watch the election results come in live! Thankfully, there are innumerable ways to watch election coverage on November 8, and for free. Voters can tune in both online and on television, through social media and traditional news. There is no excuse not to tune in and see history be made on November 8!
On election day, YouTube will be sponsoring live coverage from a number of news sites, starting at 7:00pm ET. Check the YouTube pages for NBC News, PBS, MTV News, Bloomberg, Telemundo and The Young Turks for the coverage! On Twitter, BuzzFeed is sponsoring a live feed, starting at 6:00pm ET. It’ll be available on the app, as well!
A number of news sites are doing around the clock Facebook Live videos! For example, PBS News Hour is broadcasting from 8:00pm to 2:00am or later if necessary. They’re showing their regular TV broadcast at 6:00pm on Facebook Live, and providing video from the Clinton and Trump campaign party headquarters, too. Visit the Facebook pages of most of your favorite news sites, like The New York Times, and see what they have in store, and at what time. Stay informed!
