With only three days left until the election, the superstar cast of ‘Saturday Night Live’ made sure to tackle all the latest scandals for a hilarious politically-charged episode on Nov. 5.
Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon slayed with their presidential impersonations! Get the details!
LOL! Alec Baldwin, 58, and Kate McKinnon, 39, channeled their inner presidential candidates for a truly epic episode of Saturday Night Live on Nov. 5, making sure to address the latest political hot topics ahead of election day. Cecily Strong portrayed Erin Burnett, opening up the floor for both to give their opinions “one last time.” When she hit Alec’s Donald Trump with some hard hitting questions regarding Russia, he denies it to the fullest. “I don’t know [Vladimir] Putin, I’ve never met Putin. What is even a Putin?” Of course, the leader then comes in for a sweet kiss to confirm their relationship. It didn’t stop there.
Erin then asked about the KKK endorsing him, which he claimed to have no idea about, before locking lips with a member while lifting his hood!
Donald was also smooched by an FBI agent, so they covered all their bases, even grilling Hillary throughout the skit. However, at the end, Alec and Kate broke character to encourage voters to cast their ballots! The superstar cast of SNL has been on a roll this season, having last fearlessly tacked the third presidential debate on Oct. 22. Of course, they touched on Donald’s viral comments, like when he called Hil a “nasty woman” in addition to his infamous “bad hombres” remark.
Tom Hanks even portrayed moderator Chris Wallace, trying to keep control of the candidates who continuously talked over each other. The comedians always slay when it comes to their impersonations, even copying their mannerisms in every debate-related segment!
SNL has continually kept their audience in stitches with their politically-charged segments. For tonight’s episode, fans were treated to an epic guest host, Dr. Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch.
Not only did the A-list star make his first ever appearance, but he also pulled out all the stops for a few knee-slapping skits! As if that wasn’t hot enough, Solange stopped by to rock the house with two heartfelt performances, while a few of the guys from the Chicago Cubs also visited to celebrate their first World Series win since 1908. What a night!
