Poor Taylor Swift! The pop princess had a horrifying run-in with an alleged stalker on Oct. 22, and although he was arrested on Nov. 10 in Austin, TX, she’s still really ‘rattled’ and ‘scared,’ a source tells EXCLUSIVELY. Here’s the scoop.
Taylor Swift, 26, went through a situation on Oct. 22 that every celebrity dreads the most: being stalked. A 39-year-old man named Frank Andrew Hoover allegedly pursued the singer after her Austin, TX concert, and was taken in by police on Nov. 10, according to TMZ. The man may be behind bars now, but Taylor still has the heebie-jeebies.
“Not only has her stalker been bugging her, he has been bugging her family and that is what is very scary,” a source said. “She trusts her security and her security protocol but to know that he still got close to her has her a bit rattled. It is not a fun thing to know that someone wants to harm you and the ones you love, it is heart-wrenching and scary.”
Now, Taylor finds it hard to be alone with her own thoughts, which often turn dark after the encounter. “She tries to not pay attention to it but she is very aware of it and when she starts thinking about it she gets scared,” said the insider. “But she makes sure to not focus on it all the time because she doesn’t want it to consume her.” We hope it doesn’t!
We definitely can’t blame Tay for being nervous. “He’d been hounding Taylor and her family for months leading up to her Oct. 22 concert at Formula 1 race,” police told TMZ. “The night of the show, he [followed] her motorcade from the track to the airport where a private jet was waiting for Taylor and her parents.” Horrifying!
