This is so touching! The third anniversary of Paul Walker’s death is coming up on Nov. 30, and his ‘Furious 7’ co-star Tyrese Gibson has wasted no time in honoring his friend’s memory with a heartbreaking post, preparing fans for the rough week ahead.
Tyrese Gibson, 37, shared his undying love for his dearly departed friend and former co-star Paul Walker by posting a pic of the two actors hanging out together to Instagram on Nov. 26. The snapshot, which appears to have been taken on set, was accompanied by a short but beautiful caption. “This is always a very rough week for us,” Tyrese wrote, most likely referring to himself and the cast of the Furious franchise.
Back in March 2015, Tyrese said that everything the Furious 7 cast and crew had done to promote the last movie in the franchise that Paul had starred in was “on behalf of telling the world that Paul left us with some beautiful art.” Tyrese also said that the trauma of losing Paul was partially due to how the 40-year-old actor had died. “It wasn’t just that I lost one of my closest friends of 13 years,” he told the New York Daily News. “It really came down to the trauma. It was traumatic. It wasn’t just that he died; it was the way that he died that made things that much worse. You don’t want to think of someone, who is the nicest guy in the world, burning alive in a car.”

Paul died in a car accident in California on Nov. 30, 2013 as the passenger in a Porsche GT, which was driven by his friend Roger Rodas. The sports car reportedly flew off of the road then crashed into a tree, which killed both of them. Ever since then he’s been remembered in the most beautiful ways by friends, family, fans and the cast of the Furious franchise.
