Beyonce Set To Voice Nala In ‘Lion King’ Remake? She’s Director’s Top Choice

Queen Bey might soon become queen of the savanna! A new report on March 30 claims that Beyonce is first in line to voice Nala in the upcoming live-action remake of ‘The Lion King’! Here’s the scoop.

When you’re looking for someone to voice a female lion, of course the first person you ask is the fiercest woman on the planet! Variety reported on March 30 that The Lion King director Jon Favreau is dying to make Beyonce, 35, the new Nala in the live action remake!

Beyonce still hasn’t accepted the role, but the report says Jon is going out of his way to make it as appealing as possible. Of course, Bey is expecting twin babies soon, but he’s happy to accommodate her schedule, and since it’s just voice acting it’s something she can do around the kids. She doesn’t even have to move very much. We totally think she should do it!

We would kill to hear her sing “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” during the part where Simba and Nala fall in love. That soundtrack would be totally amazing, because along with Beyonce, Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino has already signed on for the new movie. He has an amazing singing voice, but he can also rap — so many opportunities for cool duets!

Donald was cast to play Simba, and his father Mufasa will be played by none other than James Earl Jones — the same guy who voiced him in the animated Disney film! We definitely hope that Bey decides to join this star-studded cast as well, because we know she would make the perfect Nala with that silky smooth feminine voice!

Do you think that Beyonce would make a good Nala? Should she take the role, or lay low during her pregnancy? Let us know!
