Chuck Wicks ‘Lucky’ To Be Alive After Fracturing Skull In Terrifying Car Crash — Pics

Wow, this is absolutely terrifying. Chuck Wicks was recently involved in a brutal car accident while traveling to Mardi Gras, and his doctors told him that, after fracturing his skull and vertebrae, he barely survived. Luckily, he’s going to be okay.

See his detailed message of the scary crash here.

Chuck Wicks, 37, was driving to New Orleans with his country music morning show co-hosts, Ty Bentli and Kelly Ford, and producer Glenn Johnson, when a horrible rain storm hit and their car hydroplaned off the side of the road.

The vehicle was totaled after rolling over twice into a ditch, and although everybody survived, Chuck is facing some brutal injuries in the aftermath.

“Throughout the entire process I remember my neck just getting stiffer and stiffer and between the shock of everything and being soaken wet from rolling through the water filled ditch I couldn’t stop shaking,” he wrote on social media.

He then detailed the fear that quickly sunk in. “As my head got stiffer through the ride [to the hospital] and I knew everyone else was ok I started to panic a bit…and honestly I was scared.”

Even though he avoided paralysis (or worse), it’ll be a long road to recovery for the country star. Chuck went on to explain that he’ll have to wear a neck brace for three months, while experiencing discomfort for an unknown amount of time. “Be safe out there,” he urged his fans, in conclusion. “Don’t take anything for granted.”
