‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7: Did Ser Davos Accidentally Reveal Premiere Date?

Do we FINALLY have a premiere date for ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7? Liam Cunningham, a.k.a. Ser Davos, may have revealed when the new season will premiere, and it’s a lot later than you thought.

“I’ve been disappointing various people around the world because it was meant to come out in April. It’s July now, I think,” Liam Cunningham told Ireland’s Independent. The rumor has been that season 7 would premiere in June, after being pushed back 2 months because filming was delayed. Now we might have to wait another month. Raise your hand if you are OUTRAGED!

The cast has not started filming the eighth and final season, but Liam also added that we might have to wait even longer to get our hands on those coveted last episodes. “There’s going to be a launch and something special happening this year for the premiere,” he continued. “The bad news is, there will only be seven episodes and the final season starts again as far as I know in September.”

The show recently wrapped filming season 7, and that’s likely why the premiere date may have been pushed to later in the summer. Filming was delayed because the cast and crew had to wait to shoot scenes in colder weather because winter has officially arrived on Game of Thrones. Even though filming has taken longer, there will only be 7 episodes in season 7. The final season will likely be comprised of 6 episodes, if creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss make good on their word.

Season 7 is already shaping up to be the biggest season yet. The plot is being kept under lock and key, but we do know Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) will come face-to-face, thanks to paparazzi photos.
