Ever since Remy Ma dropped multiple diss tracks against Nicki Minaj, the rapper has been pretty silent — until now. She just dropped three songs, but one wasn’t about Ma — it was about her ex, Meek Mill.
“Regret in Your Tears” is about a broken relationship, and well, the lyrics speak for themselves. “Regret in your tears, now you taste ’em / ‘Cause you know I don’t chase, I replace ’em / Don’t rush, take time, take some / I just want the memories, tried to make some with you / Now I gotta erase some with you.” You can read all the lyric here.
Nicki, 34, revealed on Instagram in January that she was single, leaving everyone wondering what happened with the 29-year-old. As we previously told you, after the split Meek was not quiet and not afraid to diss her, but she wanted to wait to do it on a new song.
“Nicki isn’t going to respond to Meek on social media,” an insider told us EXCLUSIVELY. “She’s channeling all her emotions into her music and it’s definitely helping her creativity. She’s going to call Meek out on all his bullsh-t, but in her music. That way, she’ll make money while she rips him — which is even better.”
With reports that Nicki is currently dating rapper Future, we recently reported that Meek actually has warned him. “Future may think he has the prize right now because everything is all fun and and the good times are rolling, but the minute Future stops kissing her a** and stop saying yes to her, she’s going to snap and he’s going to be in for a rude awakening,” a source told us.
