Watch out, Remy Ma! Nicki Minaj’s scathing ‘No Frauds’ diss track may only be the beginning, as the rapper’s now publicly warned her nemesis that she has plenty more up her sleeve. Oh boy!
As if it wasn’t enough that Nicki Minaj, with the help of her pals, Lil Wayne and Drake, totally went off on Remy Ma on the new track “No Frauds,” she also took to Instagram after dropping the song to keep the disses coming. Alongside a video with lyrics from her verse of the song, the 34-year-old wrote a lengthy caption directed at the Love & Hip-Hop: New York star that included a big warning: “I got a bunch more on c***.”
In the message, Nicki slammed Remy for dropping a diss track about her, and pointed out that at her Young Money record label “we don’t do diss records, we drop HIT RECORDS & diss u ON them.” Well, that’s certainly what she did on “No Frauds,” outing Remy for having surgery, using a ghostwriter on her song “Another One,” and plenty more.
Plus, it obviously gives Nicki even more cred that she had Drizzy and Wayne on the track. Although the guys don’t get too involved with Remy in their verses, they make sure to sing their girl, Nicki’s, praises, with Drake rapping, “I just saw Nicki the other day, and she just keeps getting finer over time,” and Lil Wayne adding, “Drake a headliner, and Nicki, she get finer, word.”
The Nicki and Remy drama began at the end of February when Nicki and Gucci Mane dropped the song “Make Love,” and Remy took some of the vicious lyrics to be about her. She fired back with a 7 minute song called “Shether” which totally blasted the “Super Bass” rapper, and the feud erupted. For the most part, Nicki has kept silent since Remy began going off, but now, she’s clearly ready to fight. This should get interesting!
What do you think of “No Frauds”? Do you think Nicki will release more diss tracks?
