Fans of T.I. and Tiny’s reality series will be happy to hear this! Even though the longtime couple is broken up, they’re still planning to film a sixth season of their VH1 show, according to a new report.
In fact, the split is reportedly what pushed the network to even renew the show in the first place!
VH1 never officially announced the end of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, but the show was reportedly on the verge of cancellation — until Tiny filed for divorce from T.I., that is! Now, the network is banking on the drama from the pair’s split to fuel a sixth season, according to TMZ.
The site reports that VH1 wanted to cancel the reality show, but producers convinced them that fans would want to tune-in in the aftermath of the breakup. The sixth season will reportedly focus on the hip-hop couple co-parenting their three children, and feature plenty of scenes of the exes on camera together. HollywoodLife.com has reached out to VH1 for comment.
Tiny filed for divorce from T.I. after six and a half years of marriage, and although things are still very “strained” between the two, it seems like they’ve been able to remain fairly amicable. In fact, they were photographed out together on Valentine’s Day — although, now we have to wonder if that’s just because they were filming, and not because they’re actually getting back together.
As we’ve previously reported, Tiny isn’t in a rush to finalize the divorce, even though she’s the one who filed in December. Meanwhile, the rapper is totally confident he’ll win his girl back, as EXCLUSIVELY learned. Our source says that T.I. even has the kids begging their mom to drop the divorce! We’re crossing our fingers.
Are you excited to hear that T.I. & Tiny’s reality show is back on? Will you tune in?
